You’re probably well aware by now of the delights that Croatia has to offer: dazzling Dubrovnik, the party island of Hvar and summer weekend breaks in Split. However, believe it or not, there’s still some of this fascinating country that’s slipped under the tourism radar. In fact, I was in two minds as to whether to mention this place or not, because its relatively untouched state truly is a peace of paradise for the regular traveller weary of weaving around umbrella-led groups. The thing is though, some things are just too good not to share – and the city and region of Zadar deserves every ounce of awe coming its way from travellers yet to discover its wonders. Here’s a little Top 10 taster to tell you why Zadar is the place to visit right now:
